While a series of national workshops aim to take a broad look at agricultural competition, seeds will take center stage at the initial event this week in Ankeny, Iowa.
Ethanol prices have moved from a strong premium to RBOB futures to a sharp discount. Strong demand in gasoline markets and sluggish ethanol markets are changing the pricing dynamics between the two.
Prices for five of the eight major fertilizers were higher and three were lower during the first week of March, compared to a month earlier. However, price movements for all fertilizers continue to be relatively small.
